John was very patient with me when I started advising Paragon as a client, having far less experience than he did in his many years in the market! We went to Japan on an investor roadshow and he was always early; always impeccably turned out; and always able to magically spirit up a cigarette or a beer from nowhere!  We tasted some foul local delicacies, which he tried without complaint. He had a gentle sense of humor and made me laugh with his observations of the world.  He loved his family and spoke of them often.  I'm so sorry to hear what the family has had to go through lately, and my thoughts are with you all.  I will remember working with John fondly.  Wishing you all strength, and far better days to come.  Sarah Milne from Macquarie
